Oppose Telangana Private Universities Bill-Save Public Universities

        (Mallareddy Private Universitiy)

State Education Minister Sabita Indrareddy has clarified that the reservation policy fee will not be reimbursed in the newly established private universities in the state.Isn't it The Minister of Education said that his government had brought in a law in 2018 on the issue of setting up private universities to make higher education more accessible to the poor. Universities were allowed on May 20.Earlier on the 16th,a committee of cabinet ministers met and gave the green signal to private universities. The elders of this sub-committee are amazed at the allocation of universities to some of the ruling party leaders. The first private university near Dhoolapally in the same district will continue under the name 'Mallareddy University'.The Chief Whip of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi got  permission to set up a private university called Anurag University at Venkatapuram near Ghatkesar in Medchal district. The third private university was established near Anantasagar in Hassan Parti Mandal of Warangal district. The university will be set up by a TRS leader named SR University Fourth Private University IT Corporate Company Tech Mahendra is setting up a private university in Kolhapur in Medchal district. Permission was granted to several business entities to establish a university.Fifth one Volks,Five private universities have been tied up in a business entity. The company is already running the School of Business in Sadashivpeth in Medak district. The government says that 3 universities are ruling party leaders and that private universities are making arrangements to make higher education more accessible. On the other hand, the Department of Education has made it clear that there will be no reservation or fee reimbursement. Private universities use government-provided infrastructure such as water, electricity, roads, etc. They are refusing to grant constitutional reservations to Dalits. According to Article 46 of the Constitution, the state should protect the interests of the SC / ST community in particular. According to Article 15 (5), reservations can be made in private educational institutions for the promotion of SC / ST BCs. There is no doubt in the charm of those who can afford it. Even among the agrarians, poor students are excluded from education and only the rich are admitted. Private universities are registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act 2013.It is not possible to provide quality education in them because a private company is a for-profit organization. Production and costs are reduced but they do not bring much profit. Reducing costs on infrastructure, hiring teachers for low salaries are more likely to hire unqualified teachers. How is it possible for a qualified teacher with a PhD to get a salary of lakhs of rupees outside, and only 30 or 40 thousand in private universities to work with a creative mind? In such a case it becomes greedy to expect quality education from them. The owners of these universities are already running engineering colleges, wiping out their boards and continuing the courses mentioned earlier, even if they are universities. In the case of new courses, some courses like Engineering, Pharmacy, Business Administration will be introduced. They do not have a scientific study of how many jobs there are in the market and what kind of jobs they have. In fact unemployment is on the rise in our country. It is a stark fact that after completing those courses,99% of the students who have paid lakhs of rupees assuming that the courses are in demand in such situations, will not get jobs. Research in these private universities is on how to make more profit at lower cost and sell the goods produced in unethical ways in other industries run by corporate companies. The research done here is also naturally patented
University professors can convert those patents into their own property. The same research education is the transformation of the skills required by foreign corporate companies into courses. In a real sense, universities are in danger of disappearing.

Save Public Universities
                   (Osmania University)
                   (Kakatiya Universitiy)
There are 6 State Universities and 11 Specialized Universities in Telangana. Osmania University, Kakatiya University, Satavahana University, Telangana University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Palamuru University along with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Potti Sriramulu University, National Institute of Technology, Ambedkar Open University. There are about two thousand faculty posts vacant in the University and not a single professor post has been filled in the last six years. Properly funded or students are stagnant.Lack of funding, irresponsibility of government officials becomes a big risk. Universities are collapsing internally as they are unable to provide the required books in the library and the necessary equipment in the lab lab.Vacant posts in universities should be filled and developed, as well as the construction of new hostels on a war footing. The aim of setting up a private university is to make higher education accessible to the common man but reservation should be duly implemented in those universities.Fee Reimbursement Scheme should be introduced.Fees charged at Osmania and Kakatiya Universities should be collected same at private universities.
